Currently Adoptable Dogs

Guerra

Talamentes

Talamentes

ADOPTED!

  • Gender: Male
  • Fixed: Neutered
  • Breed: Lab mix
  • Weight: 65 lb
  • Age: 1.5 Yr

Guerra is young pup with an old sole. He is the definition of a love bug. The first thing he does when he meets new people is give them a giant hug!

Better get your dancing shoes on because this cha cha boy loves to dance (he is honestly a better dancer than my partner lol)

He is excellent with other dogs and plays quite happily with them. He also is good with cats, he will sniff them out but no aggression.

Chickens however... that a no go lol he loves to chase and catch the chickens.

Throw on some water wings and jump off the dock this young lad will be right in there after you. He is swimming by heart.

He does pull on his leash during walks, nothing that a regular person couldn't handle, he just gets so excited and settles down after the first 2 minuets.

We have not seen him play with toys, he doesn't seem to be interested, on the flip side he is not a chewer has not touched anything in the house.

He loves his create and will lay in there with the door open just to rest. At night we do need to put him in it for bedtime but never makes a peep (unless he needs outside)

I would like to say he is house trained but with is malnutrition and new food we have been having some poop issues that he just cant hold in until he gets outside. He does let us know every time he needs to go though.

He does not know any commands but is highly food motivated and a fast learner.

All in all this boy is a very laid back calm lab. He would make an excellent family dog and a great partner in life.

Guerra is adoptable through redemption paws we do not choose who is able to adopt Guerra we are only the foster. If you have any questions please contact us or redemption paws.

Talamentes

ADOPTED!

  • Gender: Female
  • Fixed: Spayed
  • Breed: Chi--Mix
  • Weight: 14lb
  • Age: 1 yr

Meet Talamentes, she is a spunky little ball of energy. She loves to bury herself in blankets and sweaters. She is unfazed by any dog or cat that comes her way. She loves her squeaky toy and we must hide it at night lol.

‼️She has had a few accidents in the house and we are working on potty training.

She is picking up her name fast but we currently don’t know any commands, she will sit petty for a treat though as she is highly food motivated.

She is starting to nip at our fingers when she wants attention or one of our other dogs walks up to us. We are saying no and replacing our figures with a toy right away. She is a barker, we live in the country so it’s quite but when she hears someone she barks away until she sees who it is. (Does not help that our dogs also bark)

Good walker on the leash! And sure does get the zoomies during the day. We are loving her personality shine.

She doesn't mind being dressed up in sweaters when she is cold and gets extremely excited when you come home. She will however dig and bite through garbage if you leave it out, and gets quite personal when you are eating something she wants.

She is happy to be in her create at night or snuggled right up to you in bed.

Talamentes is adoptable through redemption paws we do not choose who is able to adopt Talamentes we are only the foster. If you have any questions please contact us or redemption paws.

Tigger

  •  Good with dogs: Yes (does better in small groups with respectful dogs
  • Good with cats: Yes (does well with strong advocacy from his foster mom and calm cat)
  •  Good with kids: Unknown - I do not see him having a problem with 7 and up.
  • Crate trained: Yes (is still learning how to settle on his own)
  • House trained: Yes
  • Leash skills: Strong and reactive on leash. This is a work in progress
  • Apartment appropriate: No
  • Good in car: Yes
  • Flight risk: Possibly
  • Shedding Level: Low
  • Medical Concerns: No known medical concerns
  • Guarding issues: None seen here
  • Other behavioral issues:  Tigger did have a sister in the home. He would do well with other dog companion who is also strong and independent. NOTE: he will never be a daycare or dog park dog he can be reactive fast.
  • Why are they with Tango’s Lead?: Tigger was surrendered due to his demanding needs in his forever home.
  • Best quality:  Tigger is extremely smart, he wants to look to his human for guidance and structure. Tigger is the most suggliest dog we have ever had. Although he is the largest he is the happiest when snuggled up to his human.
  • Worst quality:  Tigger needs exercise or he can be destructive with objects in the home left around. He needs strong toys he cannot rip apart. And he loves to completely eat socks
  • BONUSES:  Tigger is great with humans and very loyal. He used to live with two teenagers. He would be protective over younger children.  Tigger LOVES treats and is very food motivated. This makes him easier to train and focused. (but not to many)

    NOTE:
    * Tigger is looking for a forever home with Mastiff experience (ideally Presa experience)

Trigger is adoptable through Tango Leads Rescue we do not choose who is able to adopt Tigger we are only the foster. If you have any questions please contact us or tango leads
